Owner Operator Settlement (O/O Payroll)

The Basics:

  • Owner settlement is calculated weekly and paid on Monday by Direct Deposit or Comdata card.
  • Revenue is calculated based on your contractor compensation agreement.
  • Dispatched, loaded and empty miles are based upon Rand McNally miles.
  • Payment for loading, unloading or multi-stop pickups or deliveries and detention will be based on your contractor compensation agreement.
  • Owners are paid a fuel rebate based on loaded dispatch miles.
  • Revenue is offset with necessary deductions for fuel, insurances, advances and other expenses such as truck payments.
  • Settlement statements are available to print or review at your convenience at swiftowner.com. or via the Swift Informer Kiosk.

Company Driver Payroll

The Basics:

  • Driver payroll is calculated weekly and paid on Tuesday via Direct Deposit or Comdata card.
  • Pay statements are available to print or review at your convenience at swiftdrivers.com or via the Swift Informer Kiosk
  • Swift’s pay scale is based on the length of driver experience.  Credit will be granted for your previous experience based on months of service.
  • Dispatched, loaded and empty miles are based upon Rand McNally miles.
  • Payment for loading, unloading or multi-stop pickups or deliveries and detention will be based on your pay package.
  • Vacation time will be earned at the completion of each year of full time employment.  Vacation is paid out annually upon your anniversary.
  • Swift has a company driver per diem plan.  The plan is very simple – Swift reduces the taxable mileage rate and pays out a non-taxable Per Diem amount.  By reducing the taxable compensation, it typically results in more take-home pay.
